BMW celebrate 500,000th GS with special edition

500 special editions to celebrate’s one of BMW’s iconic bikes

TO CELEBRATE the 500,000th GS produced since the bikes introduction in 1980, BMW is releasing 500 special edition R1200GS models.

The anniversary bike will feature a front fender extension, black oil-cooler spoiler, tinted windshield, two-tone seat that’s 20mm higher than standard, black rims, aluminum cylinder head protectors. The Special Edition also features a white paint scheme, never seen before on any GS models.

With the special model priced around £300 more than a regular GS, we Lilies think that’s good value for money.
